About Therapy

Therapy is a space for you to pause, reflect, and begin to move forward - at your own pace. You might come to therapy feeling burnt out, anxious, low, or stuck in patterns you don't fully understand. Together, we'll make sense of why you feel the way you do. 

I work primarily with Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT). These approaches help you learn practical skills to manage your thoughts and emotions, while also creating space for values, meaning and self-compassion. 

Our work might focus on understanding your difficulties, exploring their roots, or finding ways to move forward with them. My aim is to help you feel more balanced, connected and capable of living in a way that aligns with what matters most to you. 

You are not alone - and you don't have to have everything figured out to begin.

Who is it for?

Do you ever ask yourself "why am I like this?". I often work with people who feel like they're reaching their limit - even if they're used to being the one who copes, carries on, and holds everything together. Even considering therapy might feel like a sign that you're not "coping" when it is, in fact, a sign of self-awareness, wisdom and strength.

You might be someone who's always been seen as capable and resilient but lately things feel heavier. You might be experiencing exhaustion, low mood or a sense of 'flatness', increased anxiety or the echo of past experiences that still impact how you see yourself and the world around you. 

I work with people just like you: thoughtful, intelligent, and psychologically curious individuals who are ready to explore how things could be different. In therapy, we work together not only to manage symptoms but to build a gentler relationship with yourself and to find ways to connect with your values.

We'll go at a pace that feels safe and useful, whether you're looking for short-term support or want to dive deeper into longer-standing difficulties. My aim is to offer a space where you feel truly heard, not judged, not rushed, but supported as you reconnect with your values and inner resilience.
